Codaray Construction has launched a new division, Commercial Services, which will focus on serving clients’ needs such as specialty projects, commercial renovations, minor repairs and maintenance. Joey Davion, a 2010 USM graduate, who has spent his career in construction, has been named Director of Commercial Services.
“We are thrilled to have someone of Joey’s caliber join us,” announced Matt Pace, President of Codaray Construction. “Joey’s background in construction, along with his great attention to detail, made him the perfect candidate to lead our new commercial services division.”
Prior to joining Codaray, Davion was Vice-President at JWA Construction & Colony Construction. The company, founded in 2016, focused on residential and commercial construction. “I am excited to bring my previous experience to Codaray, narrow my focus, and ensure we meet every need of our clients.”
“We hold client relationships in the highest esteem and to that end we have always met our clients’ building needs. Now we can continue our relationship through smaller projects,” commented Pace. “Because the customer is familiar with Codaray, and we know the history of the facility and have the building plans, we are much more cost effective and user friendly than hiring someone unfamiliar with the client and their needs.”
Commercial Services went to work in early July, and the staff has already worked on over ten projects.
